about chennai:
in comparison to hyd
the traffic is lessthey have a very good intra city railway lines.........one of the reasons for less pollutionthough the pollution is less they dont have proper drainage system....which makes the city
look dirty and stinky
its very difficult for a new comer if he doesnt know tamil....even most of the bus nos are
written in tamil.....
for god's sake donot hire an auto....they dont have meters for their autos.....they will
charge u atleast thrice....(especially if u are an andhrite)
coming to their food habits......
i donno whether we drink six litres of water a day.....but they drink sambar for sure.....:Pthey use high amount of ghee in every food item they eat.....
luckily ther's an andhra mess near to my room....so i am saved......:P
most of the shopping in chennai is done in T.nagar.......so its damn crowded every
day......and during the weekends its even more terrible......
i lost my data card..will upload the pictures as soon as i get one.....
i wonder who this saravana is....half of the chennai is occupied by his stores...
the weather here is quite hot and sultry for now and imagine chennai summers :O(u cant
manage with tracks....u have to wear boxers...:P)
i managed to learn two tamil words....1.venda -i dont want

as i was heading back to my mansion.....all of a sudden i found a little short fellow and u know who it is.....obbb....k.s...
he was here for his interview in kalpakkam.....i thought he would be angry on me since he informed me in advance that he would be coming to chennai for hhis interview and that we shall meet......i changed my no after coming to chennai and forgot to give him my new no.......he tried to call me by my old no....but was unreachable.....luckily we met some how...also his room was very near to my mansion...:)..
we had a little chat and then he left to his room.......
TRIP TO MAHABALIPURM.....
The next day afternoon i along with k.s and my cousin rajesh left to mahabalipuram.........
rajesh has been staying in chennai for the past 4 yrs doing his b.pharm......we thought he knew chennai very well......but later we found he was a noob like us....lol
rjesh said it will take around one and half hour to reach mahabalipuram....
so we thought of going to spencers first and then to mahabalipuram.....
we went to spencers and i bought a boxer on the advise of k.s.....(finally i am in the boxers club.. k.s and roopi being the core ...lol)
we had our lunch in one of the chinese restaurants in spencers and then we left to mahabaliouram........it took more than 3 hrs from spencers.....gg(noobad rajesh....)...we reached mahabalipuram at 6pm(when every one started to leave from there..lol).......
we sat in the beach for about half an hr and went around to see the sculptures there.......let me tell u those are one of the finest carvings that i have ever seen......at around 7pm it was dark enuf for us to leave........we came back to T.nagar
TRIP TO KANCHIPURAM.....
Though i am an athiest.....i had to accompany ks to kanchipuram as he would leave in 2 days......
K.s was also not too keen in going to kanchi.......but the previous night rajesh told him that in kanchi there is an astrologer who would tell ur mom and dad's name and ur future how is it going to be jus by talking ur finger print.......it caught K.s attention
we reached kanchi and took an auto.......actually there are 5 major temples in kanchi...i was not interested as was the case with K.s...but he was too keen to know about his fortune......so we asked the auto wala about the astrologer.......to our surprise he told us that we have to book one month in advance for his appointment......and that the astrologer is too busy.....and he stays near the golden lizard temple.......'moreover the timings are between 8a.m to 10a.m....it was already late.....so we headed towards the golden lizard temple......
to our surprise there was not only the golden lizard but also a small silver lizard beside it(probably her baby...:P)......lol
on our way to golden lizard temple.......the autowala stopped at one of the houses there........one old fellow came out and invited us.......we had no idea of what was going on.......we went inside...me and rajesh were normal but k.s was a little afraid(ee arava dash gallu em chestaro emo ani).....
actually that was a saree house....("kanchi"pattu )......the old fellow showed us how they view silk sarees and stuff related to it.......we felt good and were about to leave.......then a lady came and said something in tamil......rajesh translated and told us that she is asking us to see the varieties of sarees that they sell.....it was good time pass...so we went in and she startd to show all the varieties of pattu and their prices which varied from 1000 to 30,000.....(all of them looked similar to us...how would we know)......then she asked to us whether we want to buy any.......i have no idea about sarees so i denied, k.s also was not sure and rajesh meanwhile to escape from that situation told her that "we dont want pattu sarees we want silk sarees"......aunty said both are the same...loooooooooooooolllllllllllllll
she made us to go into such a situation that we couldnt deny her....also k.s wanted to take something back to home....so he bought a saree worth 1500....(the price on it was 3000 but rajesh bargained...)....so careful guys the next time u go to kanchhi......first of all dont take an auto....secondly donot go into any saree house....they wont leave u untill u buy......lolz.....
There was still some time...so k.s wanted to see the kanchi kamakshi temple......so we hired another auto and reached the temple.....there was a long queue for darshan.....so we took li8 and came back to t.nagar at around 9 pm
Trip to PONDICHERRy:
after coming to t.nagar at 9pm we called sandy(..weekend for him) and asked him to come to our place as we planned to leave to pondicherry the same night....
sandy came at around 10.30pm and we left to pondi at 12midnight
we reached pondi at 4am.....all of us were tired......sandy came directly from office.....me, ks and rajesh had no proper sleep for about 2 days
we took a room in one of the hotels and slept nicely till 8am...........rajesh knew pondi very well(nd u know why!!....:P)
In the morning we went to one of the beaches in pondi......to reach that beach we had to boat for more than half an hour in a fresh water lake.....that was an awsome experience......we had nice time in the beach and in the evening at around 4pm we came back to our room
BBc guys would be wondering what has these ppl done.....they need not go all the way to pondi to see a beach....looool.....hmmmmm.....coming to the point...on our way to the hotel room we bought the stuff and it was pretty cheap compared to chennai and hyd....but in goa it was still cheaper(i will mail u the costs...:D)......lol
we all thought rajesh was a proo....but instead he turned out to be a noob in this case too......he had plate(sry full ) meals three times i think.....(papam pillodu :P).......he slept nicely after that.....so me ks and sandy not knowing what to do left him in the room and went out for roaming.......we left pondi after that and reached t.nagar the next day morning......awll in all we missed BBC during our pondi trip.....u all should hav been there....
rajesh left us and went to his place......me, k.s and sandy went around for shopping.....sandy gadu oka belt konadaniki mamalni mottam chennai tippadu.....danito maa pani maaky mangalam palli bala murali krishna la aipoindi.....ante ento adaga kandi....flow lo vachindi follow aipondi..:P
sandy also left to his place.....me and ks thought of going to marina beach but had no energy left....so we took li8 and went back to our rooms
k.s left chennai on the same day at 10 pm.......so that was the end of the journey rather the begining???
the next day we had to report at the office.....gg......me along with my ps mate visa went to the office.......our instructor came 1hr late
we met with the company HR....she is good looking :P.....we finished some formalities......
we were made to meet with our company deputy managing director sameer sir...to our surprise he is a bits pilani grad....even our managing dierector also a bits pilani grad..(as he is out of station we did not meet him).........he spoke to us for about 2 hrs.....about the campus life and staff......he was 1988 passout....
moreover he is also a victim of raman effect....hahahahahahhahaha
our DMD sameersir particularly asked about prof.Raman......and told us how he used to terrorize students....and how less were the averages in papers set by him...looooool
we informed to our DMD that Dr.Raman is presently the director of bits pilani goa campus.........he was shocked and pitied us.....lol....
about the company:
it does nothing but trading......and that means we are jobless....lol
no scope for an electronics project.......no work as of now......
timings 9am to 5:30 pm
and the most dfest part is compulsory formal wear for doing nothing.......thanks to the bits psd....thu neee.....
no comp no net :(((((...gggggg....using visa's for a while.....will update this as early as possible........

well well welll......finaly i am able to creat a blog......(maaky emi ardam kavatle ikkada :O)
ne way let me start first with my P.S-experiences
during holidays i was eagerly waiting for my p.s to start.....and now its the other way round.....when will it end????
though it is for five months of duration......it looks as if its never gonna complete.....
i came to chennai along with sandy and visa(my ps mate :O).......on the firt day of our p.s we went for registration at C.L.R.I.....here comes the good news......our ps instructor informed us that we have holidays for five days as our company manger was out of station.....and she is interested first to meet us and then assign us some work.......so i went to sandy and asked him whether it was the same case with him......he said he has to report at the p.s station(reflexis) on the same day of registration.......i pitied him and came to my mansion(hostels in chennai are called mansions.....:P)along with visa.........
i thought it was a good time to explore chennai........in the evening of that day........i went around shopping malls(i stay in T.Nagar....no shortage of malls).......did buy a few necessary things and was coming back to our mansion......
